Serene Shibly

Serene Shibly is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC: 16898) with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Serene is East Coast born and raised with a Syrian background. She received her B.A. in Psychology at the University of South Florida where she worked with youth before transitioning to University of San Diego to receive her masters in Mental Health Counseling.

Serene has worked with a diverse age range from children, teenagers, all the way to older adults from many cultural backgrounds. She values incorporating various identities and roles her clients hold into her clinical work. Serene has a passion for women's issues and intergenerational trauma. She believes in breaking down barriers and stigma, connecting spirituality to mental health, and healing in nature.
