Andrea Gottschalk

Clinical Supervisor

Andrea is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with an M.S. in Multicultural Community Counseling and Social Justice Education. Andrea received her B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology and Minor in Africana Studies at the University of North Carolina Asheville. She has over 6 years of counseling experience in settings including child, youth and family outpatient behavioral health, K-12 schools, and community-based clinics and programs. She also supervises and teaches future counselors as faculty in the Community-Based Block (CBB) Multicultural Community Counseling and Social Justice Education Program at San Diego State University.

Andrea is passionate about bridging borders and communities by providing bilingual/bicultural (English and Spanish), culturally responsive, and accessible mental health and community counseling services. She brings warmth and empathy as a counselor and faculty is excited to collaborate with Amaly in her role as Clinical Supervisor.
